    WHAT IS SNAPPER?

    Snapper is a popular species of fish that belongs to the Lutjanidae family. Found mostly throughout the tropics, snappers can grow up to about 40 pounds and around 2 to 3 feet.

    There are many types of snappers such as American red snapper, gray snapper, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, and many more. American red snapper is the most common type amongst restaurants.

    WHAT DOES RED SNAPPER TASTE LIKE?

    American red snapper has a reddish-pink skin and turns lighter when cooked. Red snapper is a lean, moist fish with a firm texture and a distinctive sweet, nutty flavor which makes it a great choice for many flavor components from mild to intense seasoning.
